Juggling: A Lesson

Welcome back to school! As my fellow classmates and I entered the classroom at 8 am on Monday morning, I was not expecting to be handed an envelope with a lesson to create by Wednesday. I was even more surprised when I learned I would be teaching a lesson on juggling.

As teachers, we all are going to teach topics and skills to our students that we may not be an expert. In this case, that could not be more true! I never knew how to juggle, but I definitely made some leeway towards my professional clown career. All jokes aside, working to teach a class how to juggle took me out of my comfort zone.

While giving the lesson to my classmates, the Swivl and iPad tracked where I was moving around the classroom and recorded my lesson. With this piece of technology, I am able to upload my videos onto Edthena to gain insight from experienced teachers on ways to improve. I am super pumped to learn new ways to improve my teaching style, as well as work well in front of a group of individuals. As the semester continues, I hope my lessons will be a little less "clowning around" and can improve from the feedback I will get!
