How can we use Problem Solving to increase learning?

This week's essential questions are:
What is problem solving?
How is problem solving related to project based?
After reading this week's resources, I have a few connections I'd like to point out. In our 3-2-1 Blog Success Model, we can identify:

In AEE 413, we started the semester with creating a "felt need." Part of introducing problem solving in the classroom is creating that "felt need."
In my EDPSY 14 class, we learned about learning. In this reading, we learned that learning is an active process, a search for meaning, occurs through interactions, related to what one already knows, occurs when someone is given time to learn, and when students are empowered to explore, discover, and reflect.
